It's FFF (Fabulous Fashion Friday)

Mum says....
Psycho, crazy lady on the inside & showing it off to the world on the outside=
Fashion disaster. I don't care how great your outfit is!
Psycho, crazy lady on the inside yet remaining CALM on the outside=
A Fashionista. Even in Mom jeans!
Face it, we've all been there. Life is crazy. Keep calm and carry on!
Happy Friday Everyone!

RED LIGHT! RED LIGHT!

I attempted trendiness today. I tried on a dress similar to the one pictured above. It took a total of about .2 seconds for me to discover the following:

No way! Get it off! You look like an idiot! Mayday....Mayday!

These dresses are ridiculous. The waistband is up to your boobs (maybe that's a good thing-extra support), the length is just weird w/leggings (which is how I would wear it) and the fullness of the skirt is anything but flattering.

So, no thanks, sayonara, adios, peace out!

Conclusion: Don't waste your time trying one of these beauties on.
To those of you out there who may have already purchased one, TAKE IT BACK...NOW!

Go Go Gadget!

THIS is the coolest gadget ever. Santa brought us one for Christmas. (Kels asked for it:D)

WHY should you get one?
1. Easy to use and more importantly easy to clean.
2. Affordable!
3. Creative cakes....FUN! I wrote my kid's names. That got me the BEST mom ever award.
4. Your kids will nominate you for the BEST mom ever award.
5. Because it's just super duper cool!

My Famous {pan}Cake recipe:
(Okay so it's not "mine", it's Pillsbury but, as far as my kids are concerned, it's mine.)

2 eggs
2 c. buttermilk-the secret ingredient!
1/4 c. oil
1 3/4 c. flour
2 T sugar
2 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt

Beat eggs. Stir in buttermilk and oil. Add remaining ingredients and stir just until lumps disappear. Delish!

Speaking of Gadgets...Did anyone out there ever watch this cartoon?

It's Trendy Tuesday...Do You Dare?

COLOR! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new Spring 2010 color trends from Pantone. Word on the street (so I read) is the turquoise hue is the 2010 color of the year. CUTE! Finally, colors that are cheery, bright, wearable and oh s0 versatile. Bring on spring people!

Really adoring these two colors! (below)

That means if I buy THIS trench coat that I spied at Target the other day I'll be right in style! I seem to be obsessed with the color yellow around this time of year.
Happy color coding your wardrobe!

What a fairly boring list chuck full or beautiful blessings! Boring is beautiful!
A new year...new you!

I've said this before and I'll say it again. I do not believe in New Year's resolutions BUT, I do strongly believe in looking back, evaluating life, and changing what needs to be changed or challenging what needs to be challenged. Yes, YAY for goals! They are vital to life's successes. However, for me, everyday is a renewal. Everyday. Not just one time a year. Having said that, here is what I have come up with for myself to go Hmmm about:

1. Sweat daily
2. Think less
3. Love more
4. Serve always

Here's to a new year and a new and improved you. There is ALWAYS room for improvement!

Happy New Year Princesses!

P.S. Do you say twenty ten or two thousand and ten? Just wondering.

The HAPPIEST place on earth

Denied. Closed. Gone. You heard me. Disney was sold out. At least that was the rumor floating around the park on Tuesday. Apparently we weren't the only ones with the idea to go to Disney for Christmas. We had a fabulous time staring at the back of strangers heads and waiting in endless lines (praise to the switch pass Gods but curse the freakin Nemo ride). Not to mention fighting for space for 1/2 a butt cheek to fit on a sliver of sidewalk to watch the parade. Yes, Disney, the HAPPIEST place on earth.
This is what 5 billion people, a whining 3 yr old, a cotton candy overdose and 10 times on the merry-go-round does to innocent parents.
Welcome to
5 days at Disneyland

Our little darlings who never fought, always obeyed and never begged for the $12 balloons.
(Honestly...they were really good-mostly.)

Behold...Princess Lu

Princess lunch rip off (but priceless:D)

P.S. I may wear Minnie Mouse but you will never catch my children wearing plastic velcro character shoes. No offense.
