Happy Merry December!

Dear Santa,
I am sorry to say that today in our home we had a wee bit of an accident. You see, as the children and I merrily trimmed the house with Holiday cheer the excitement got the best of little Lulu and down the boot went to a shattering blunder. Quickly our jolly rendition of "Deck the Halls" came to a halt. "Oh what a pity," I said as I gently wiped the tears from Lulu's face. "I am a calm and loving Mommy who completely understands that it was only an accident. It's okay that the pair of Santa boots are no longer a pair. It can't be replaced and they cost a lot of money but, it's okay sugar pie." And with that I pulled the freshly baked gingerbread from the oven and we continued on our merry way. So, we are sorry. Very, very sorry that the most important piece of your ensemble has been ruined. Trust me. I completely understand the devastation that may occur when your outfit is missing the perfect pair of shoes.
Anyway, when shopping for me will you please take into consideration that I was an extra good Mommy who handled the situation wonderfully? A pair of THESE would be lovely.
Thank You!
XOXO
Mrs. Princess Pookie
P.S. The gingerbread I baked was delicious. We'll be sure to save some for you.
P.S.S. This story is not in anyway sarcastic. Nope. Not me.
It's December 1.
Enjoy. Enjoy Enjoy.

It's Trendy Tuesday...Do You Dare?

The open toed (peep) boot. I'm not quite sure what to think about this trend. It confuses me really. A boot that has a peep hole in the toe. Very interesting. Maybe the creator of this trend lives in Miami and wanted to wear boots but, due to the higher temperatures needed a natural built in air conditioner. Or maybe they are designed to show off a fancy pedicure~clever. Or maybe they are created for backyard summer barbeque's. Or maybe they are just weird. I say we leave the peep for ballet flats and let the boots be boots!

My opinion...What a waist of a cute pair of boots. This...not so cute.

This on the other hand...cute!
Happy Trendy Tuesday everyone. Do you DARE?

Get a Life People!

Crazy lunatics!
Happy Black Friday.
You know what I find funny about this shopping day. I bet 95% of what people purchase is only purchased because of the "deal". Me, I'd much rather go buy what I really want at a decent hour of the day rather than buy 5 of what I don't want but it was a good "deal". And that's coming from someone who loves shopping more than life itself!:) Besides who wants to shop with a bunch of freakos who have stinky morning breath and wear Holiday sweaters with kittens on them. No thanks! (hee hee)

Bravo Target for the best Holiday commercials yet!

I Can Do Hard Things

Today you were hard. You cried a lot. Then I cried a lot with you. Then I called Dad and we both cried some more. My head hurts, my arms ache and I'm tired. Really tired. And although my 30 day return policy expired 2 days ago (4 wks old Wednesday), I'll keep you for good.
I love you my son. I love you forever.
XOXO
Mom
