R.I.P

This weekend my Prince Charming ran his first marathon.
You might ask why would he want to do such a thing??
Ya, it's a mystery to me too.

Stretching before race time.

Kissing him goodbye in case I never see him again. It's 26 miles people. He could die!

Along the path of death. This was around maybe mile 22ish?

That would be my big butt that did not run the marathon.

Success! His goal was to beat Oprah's marathon time of 4 hrs and 30 min. He did!

You're my hero babe! If that toe nail falls off I don't want to know!

Happy Monday!

It's FFF (Fabulous Fashion Friday)

Yep. Survey says I must have THESE for summer.
Do you have a pair of Toms?
It's Friday.
Make it a fabulous one!

Today

Today I got to sleep in til noon.
Today I ordered a mint milkshake.
Today I went to Walmart. (Walmart in the "South". That's an adventure!)
Today I shopped at TJ Maxx with no children.
Today I spoke on the phone with my niece for an hour.
Today I cut myself really bad while shaving. Like really bad! It's going to haunt me.
Today I am super duper proud of my Prince Charming.
Today someone bought me dinner. (BONUS!)
Today has been a good day.

Can't wait for tomorrow. (Okay, so I could do without the plane ride home but I'll still take my tomorrow.)

Have a wonderful TODAY and an even better TOMORROW!

The BEST Job Ever!

Today I must give thanks for the opportunity I am given to be able to teach.
I teach dance.
I love it.
I am blessed. Very, very blessed.
1 recital down, 3 more to go!
I can do this.
P.S. In case any of you were wondering...I'm taking a sabbatical from dance. Thank you summer vacation!

Door To Door To Door....

Yesterday I went shopping for a RED  door. Found one. Don't adore it but it will do because I'm too cheap to spend a gazillion dollars on what I really want.
My heart desires a RED dutch door (top opens and/or bottom opens). But that means "custom". And "custom" means $$$. AND every door man I've talked to has lashed out at me for even thinking such a thing living in Washington. Something about the weather and door seals and heavy hinges. Blah...Blah...Blah.

Anyway,
Painters come today. Yipee!
Can't wait to share. Don't hold your breath because it will be a few weeks. Pretty sure the rain is comin' back. So Mr. King 5 weatherman says.

Isn't this house delightful? To me it says,
Come on in!
Red. What a fabulous color.
P.S. Sorry for my lame posts and lack there of. Got a lot going on. More to come on this.;)
