Hats Off To A Lamo Day {yesterday}
Messes like these (thank you Lucy Jayne) is why I have Ben & Jerry's ice cream in my fridge. Think about this for a moment. If you added up all the time you spent, in a lifetime, cleaning up annoying little messes like this, how many hours would it equal? For me, I'm bound to lose a couple days. At least!
AND...this is what I get for eating Ben & Jerry's ice cream at 10:30pm!
Because I LOVE ME...

Proud To Be A DORKESS!
No wonder I don't have any friends!:D
Take a moment to LAUGH at yourself today. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but each and everyone of us have a bit of dorkiness hidden within. Embrace it, love it and share it with everyone you know. Just don't be caught being a dork in mom jeans!
XOXO

It's Trendy Tuesday...Do You DARE?
Why A Cardigan?
2. Versatility~dress up, dress down, dress all around.
Last week in my Boden post I pointed out the sweater on the left {$78}. I found the one on the right at Target {24.99}. I know it's not the same but a $50 difference for a similar look...I'll take it. I'm thinking about swapping the buttons to something a little more funky. Knit a sweater- that I cannot do. Sew on sassy buttons-I'm all over it.
Here's a little trip down memory lane for ya. Pay attention to how SMOOTH Rogers is at the shoe toss! (Don't forget to press pause on the music player at bottom of blog.)

Weekend Randomness!
The Cat in the Hat piece of artwork (above) will most likely be replaced by a quirky Dr. Suess quote made from vinyl lettering and then that artwork's new home will be above the hand towel rack. Along with.....
Moving On...
Nice to meet SHOE! I pulled these babies out this weekend and they seem to always be a hit when I wear them. However, the last time I wore these a little princess at church came up to me and started petting them and said, "Poor Giraffie". :( I ordered these on line from Hanna Andersson-clearance! I totally dig all their clogs for all ages. THESE are adorable (for me) and THESE are darling (for mini me-Lulu).
Litte Lulu...
Here is Lucy's latest and greatest fashion. Her "swim cap" as she calls it. She hates for her baby dolls to be dressed but, she loves to wear her baby doll clothes on her head. Don't ask, I don't know!
These little totes certainly spell it out loud and clear don't they?! Normally I would snatch one of these suckers up but due to the 2009 Princess Pookie "crap" rule, I passed them by. Not that they're "crap" but come on, would I really use it?
FIVE things I could have done without this weekend:
1) The BIG Mac I chose to eat Friday night~UCK~what was I thinking ?
2) Spilled milk (thank you Kelson)
3)Spilled milk AGAIN (thank you Lucy)~in my world there will be no such thing as beverage spilling!
4. The GREEN belt I picked up at Target-not so cute!
5. $75 trip to the grocery store to pick up rolls. Hate that! However, included in that $75 bucks I did get the February issue of REAL SIMPLE~A lovely little treat for myself. Oh, and some mint chocolate chunk Ben & Jerry's ice cream~another lovely little treat for myself. Do you have a favorite Ben & Jerry's flavor?
Make the most of your MARVELOUS Monday!

It's FFF (Fabulous Fashion Friday)...
So, this weekends project (I'm so sick of "weekend" projects I could vomit!) is going to be dedicated to my kidos bathroom AGAIN. This bathroom has officially been 3 ~yes, you read that correctly, 3 different colors and soon to be FOUR. BTW: I promise I'm usually not this schizo when it comes to colors however, that's the beauty of paint...you don't likie...changie!
It's a bright turquoise bluish. I believe it's official name is "Pool". I actually really like the color but it has been a ridiculous challenge finding accessories that are BOTH girl & boy friendly. And, unfortunately I have taught my son (by example I guess) to have an opinion about decorating~it's annoyingly hilarious! He'll totally bring me pictures and say, "Mom, what do you think of this?" and he almost enjoys looking through the PBK catalog as much as I do. Anyway, the current hue of this bathroom has completely stumped me thus leaving a pretty much lifeless room. So, when my latest PBK catalog came I got a bit giddy for two reasons. #1 yay...boy and girl friendly bathroom and #2 yay...it will allow me to use a paint color I've been dying to use for a while now.
So, here it is. I got all hooked up today with the Dr. Suess theme. (I'm not generally a themish bathroom person...hmm?) Cute? Fun? Cheesy? What ya think? I guess we'll find out this weekend. Shh: Hubs has no idea what I'm up to. He's going out of town. That means I must complete before he gets home to have an opinion. :)~Princesses, I know you know what I'm talking about!
BTW: Here's what the bathroom looked like when we moved in.
El Barfo Ramma!
Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you.

Have a most wonderful weekend. Don't forget to SMILE!

And The Lucky Winner Is...
WASHINGTON - First lady Michelle Obama celebrated her husband's inauguration Tuesday night wearing a white chiffon, one-shoulder gown covered in fluffy appliques and beading that will now become part of fashion history.
Designed by 26-year-old Jason Wu, much loved in the fashion world but otherwise not well known, the gathered-skirt gown was surprising for its reserve given Michelle Obama's love of jewel tones and sleek silhouettes. Yet it was unconventional too, exposing her much-remarked-upon, well-toned arms.
The gown's slight train swirled pleasingly and her shoulder-sweeping earrings picked up the gown's sparkle as she and President Barack Obama danced the evening's first dance at the Neighborhood Ball at Washington's Convention Center.
"First of all, how good-looking is my wife?" the president asked a cheering crowd. What was Mr. President's song of choice? At Last by Etta James
So...what do you think? Did she pick a winning designer?
