Yesterday I went shopping for a RED door. Found one. Don't adore it but it will do because I'm too cheap to spend a gazillion dollars on what I really want.
My heart desires a RED dutch door (top opens and/or bottom opens). But that means "custom". And "custom" means $$$. AND every door man I've talked to has lashed out at me for even thinking such a thing living in Washington. Something about the weather and door seals and heavy hinges. Blah...Blah...Blah.
Painters come today. Yipee!
Can't wait to share. Don't hold your breath because it will be a few weeks. Pretty sure the rain is comin' back. So Mr. King 5 weatherman says.
Isn't this house delightful? To me it says,
Come on in!
Red. What a fabulous color.
P.S. Sorry for my lame posts and lack there of. Got a lot going on. More to come on this.;)
Demand all babies to sleep through the night. Have Mother's day quarterly. Make french fries calorie free. Turn Monday into musical day. Send all those who gossip to the dungeon. Put pink polka dots on the flag. Make boogers obsolete. Create magic gnomes to do all the laundry. Require Nordstrom to donate a pair of shoes to those in need of retail of therapy. Have babies delivered by storks. Make bills non-existent. See to it that no woman would ever have a bad hair day again.
and.... in my world we will all live happily ever after!
I HATE baby food. There. I said it. It's messy and gets all over. It's dumb. Really dumb. You know what's even dumber? Cool mom's who make their own baby food. Lame! (Okay homemade baby food makers, I really don't think you're dumb! 100% respect here! Seriously.)
Okay moving on....
This room is so fabulous.
FABULOUS! FABULOUS! FABULOUS!
Do you like it?
Creating away for the bridal party.
They're turning out FABULOUS.
SO GLAD IT'S FRIDAY!
P.S. I met a lady today who uses her mad schooling skills to inject others with Botox.
Interesting! Very interesting! Not gonna lie, curious about filling the butt crack between my eyes. Didn't say I was gonna do it. Just curious. Don't judge. I know you're curious too!:)
Buried in laundry, dishes, dance recitals and unmade beds. Oh yes, and let's not forget the preparations for my nieces wedding that will be taking place next weekend in Utah. (Yahoo Cafe Rio here I come!) Be back...soon. Until then, check THIS cute blog out.
Today is your birthday. 9 years ago today you came into this world as a naughty, naughty, naughty baby boy (serious case of colic). And in that 9 years you have developed into one of the most handsome, kind and loyal little gentelmans. You are smart. You are funny. You are you. Your green eyes melt my heart and your spikey hair and front teeth make me giggle. I love to watch you color. I love to watch you sleep. I love that you still say you love me when I drop you off at school. I love you kiddo. More than you will ever know.
I have decided that after a week of hanging in the sun, sleeping in, eating super taste food and doing whatever I want that I am not ready to meet you. Could we please postpone your arrival a few more days so that I can get back into the swing of things? You know, ease myself back into the poopie diapers, early mornings, school lunches and piles of laundry that await me. Pretty please with sugar AND a cherry on top?
Thanks for considering. Mrs. Princess Pookie
P.S. Reality bites doesn't it? P.S.S. Prince Charming I think pink is your new color. ;)
