Messing Up

Have you ever had to say sorry to your kids?
I have.
A lot.
Even though sometimes I don't want to.
I really messed up the other day.
Pretty bad.
It was with Lucy.
I completely forgot about something.
lesson learned.

So, I introduce to you the "I'm Sorry" sandwich cookie.

"I'm Sorry" Homemade Sandwich Cookies
Graham Crackers
(Homemade are SO much better than store bought!)

Amazing Chocolate Frosting:
6 T. Butter (melted)
2 T corn syrup
1 t. Vanilla
2 C. Powder sugar
2-3 T Milk

Mix together for about 2 min. and frost away.
This is enough to frost a pan of brownies or 2 layer cake.
I 1/2 the recipe and it makes about 12-15 sandwich cookies.

A Good Chuckle!

I just had to share this today. You seriously have to wait for the 1 min. mark. Hilarious. Too bad they don't offer this at the gym I teach at!

Hope you're having an AMAZING day!

Red Trumps All

Dear (all) RED shoes,
My heart will always belong to you
forever and ever. And even though
black is usually the more practical
choice, in my book, you win.

Happy Valentine's Day!

P.S. More darling red shoes here and here.

The one thing I do know about life is...
none of us are getting any younger.

Age doesn't matter, but you better believe attitude does!

Happy Cookies

You just might want to try THESE this week.
Apparently they are pretty darn famous in THIS part of the world.
Conclusion...they're pretty freakin tasty!
(Note: I 1/2 the recipe for the frosting and it was PLENTY for all the cookies. )

First of all...Go Seahawks! And I don't even like football.
Love was in the air all weekend long and boy was it a great weekend filled with a lot of nothingness. A lot of fabulous nothingness. No obligations, no appointments, just family time.
Movies, the biggest candy store ever , a new restaurant adventure, and of course a little football on the side. It was truly a great weekend.

Hope your week is filled with happiness, LOVE, and fabulous shoes (can't wait)!
It's Monday. Make it a GREAT one!
