Holy crap! It's October 1. How did that happen? Don't tell my kids. I totally forgot. I'm supposed to start the month off with nasty cereal and Halloween decor. Maybe they won't remember. (right!) After school snack instead? Why do I do this to myself? Start "traditions". Let's face it. Starting traditions is just setting yourself up for failure. Truly! See ya...gotta hit a Target! Good thing I adore my children. Oh yes, and I LOVE Halloween!

D) I'm sure if I get my hands on it it will turn out crappy and then I would have to cry.

Fashion 'tude...
Today I roll my eyes and say "whatever" to fashion. My wardrobe as of late has consisted of pajamma bottoms and Prince Charming's T's~fancy! You know you're in bad shape when you start growing out of maternity clothes. Kill me now!

Instead....
I shall pay attention to my children and promise (that's a big word!) to take time to create these little creatures with them over the weekend. My kids LOVE anything to do with arts and crafts. THESE I can handle. Maybe. If it doesn't include spilled milk generally I'm okay.:)

FFF (Fabulous Fashion Friday)

It's a fabulous fashion FRUITY Friday.

Due to the condition of my ridiculous body type (fat and pregnant) I have been very limited (especially as of late) in being able to express myself through my attire. So, here go the nails. Look at these little decals I found at Sally. Mini fruities~oh so cutie! Don't look too close though cuz you'll probably see sheet impressions. I did this late at night. Also, warning...if you have a lame husband like me he may tell you the color on your nails looks like squash. What does he know? What's in the fruit bowl for next week? Lime green with strawberries. Stay tuned.

Dear Prince Charming,

When you are out of town I tend to stay up late. Like way past my bedtime late. I feed the children naughty food for dinner. I rearrange the furniture~twice. I make a mess on the kitchen table. Wait, there's always a mess on the kitchen table so nevermind that. I just make it messier. I watch stupid TV. And sometimes I shop. Remember when I called you yesterday morning at 8:30am to ask you a random question? Well when you get home you may (or may not) find something like THIS (or not) hanging above our fireplace (or not). Just wanted to let you know because I LOVE you.

And She's Off...

Here I sit listening to the clock tick. Eating dessert~first~on the couch (rebel). Doing whatever the heck I want. No Disney channel in the background, no arguing, no obligations to take care of someone else first. Freedom! Let the freedom ring! Today is Lucy's first day of school and my first day of three hours of FREEDOM. Unfortunately that freedom is only going to last a couple more weeks until baby comes along but I shall enjoy every minute of it while it lasts.

And...not feel a single bit guilty about it!

Have to say though....a little creepy how the time flies. She's big enough for school?

Fresh crayons, new markers~all with lids:), jumbo pink erasers, a brand new sharpened pencil...welcome back to school.

I love new school supplies.

When I went to school we used pencil boxes. The ones made out of cardboard and everyday I remember "organizing" it to fit everything just perfectly. Now days you show up the first day, the teacher has bins and everything belongs to everyone. I'm pretty sure Kelson's teacher has enough pencils to build a small condo on the East side.
BTW I still don't know what a flair pen is. Sorry Ms. Ashley!

Lulu didn't start school today (she starts pre-school next week). However, she was up and ready to go before the rest of us. Oh the poses she pulls. Maybe she'll be the one to make us a million. Maybe I should send her to Barbizon.:D
