Weekend At My House

 Took bubble baths 

(not me. the kids. i hate baths.)

And finally caught an episode of My Favorite Place (show featuring celebrity homes) where the ever-so-stylish Jonathan Adler's home was being featured. He has the quirkiest, coolest home ever! Not familiar with Jonathan Adler? Check out his happy books and his blog.

Pleats. Once again they have found a way to insert themselves at our waistline. I actually really like these cropped trousers. However, they have potential to go REALLY wrong. For example, a belly pooch better run away like the dickens from a pair of these. Know what I mean? Take note. These "trendier" pleated fronts should not be mistaken for the ones our Mother's used to wear. You know, the light denim, high waisted, gradual taper at the leg version. No. No. No. The way to wear the new and improved pleat is slouchy (boyfriend jean like), ankle length, and super tapered. 

What do you think? Do you DARE?

I'll let you know if I dare once I get a chance to try a pair on.

A few projects we've been working on.

Unfortunately, picnik will be closing up it's doors soon and it's breaking my heart. But, you have until April 19 to have all sorts of fun creating for FREE.

Anyone out there know yet what's going on with the picnik/google thing? I'd love to know!

Someday when I get smart I'll learn how to put these in a downloadable format for you all to enjoy. Until then, you have my permission to copy and paste away!

4 more days!

Most of the couples I know are all bah hum bug about Valentine's Day. Shame on them! If you belong to that crowd you should at least dust off your heels, pull out the red lips, and plan a lunch date with your BFF! Seriously...at the very least, I challenge you to wash your hair and apply a coat of lip gloss on 2.14.12. Extra credit if you wear falsies (eyelashes that is) and a push up bra!
