I think I'm truly going to add this to my non-existent apron collection. I LOVE IT A LOT!

It's SPRING tote time. Nope, don't really need one. Yep, just fun to have a new one for the new season.

I purchased this tulip baby over the weekend. The idea is super cute but I'm totally taking it back.

Just might exchange for this unique spring cutie.

Anyone out there have any suggestions? Where to go? Not loving anything at Target. I tend to like fabric bags for spring because A) Much more affordable than leather and B) Fun color combos!

As I searched my local bakeries yesterday for St. Patty's Day treats this (pic above) ridiculous combination in the dessert case caught my eye. Maple bar~delicious, if you're a maple bar lover that is. Bacon~doesn't everyone love bacon? (I actually don't.) Together=mini vomit in the back of my throat. Funny thing though...when I came home and shared what I had seen with Prince Charming his eyes lit up. Which totally proves that a man baker invented the baconator maple bar! SICK!

First...

I took my kids to McSicko last night. That was a stupid choice. There was some kind of Mcfundraiser going on. The place was upchuck full Mcbrats. Lu spilled her Mcdrink TWICE. Yes, I said TWICE. They screwed up our Mcorder. I ate a Big Mac. Another stupid choice. Ronald McDonald showed up out of the blue and scared the crap out of all of us. (Human clowns=nightmares.) The place was so noisy my head was pounding. I hate McDonald's. And for the record, their fries suck. So why do we continue to go there? Mom's all over the world are asking the same question.

I can't even remember the last time I step into The Limited (FYI: I worked there in college. Dumb job. Not a fan of retail as a career.) I had some time to kill the other day so I took a step inside. I was pleasantly surprised. Here (above) are few things I certainly could have gone home with.

Suggestion: Go buy a new white shirt-button down, T, whatever-it's time for a refresh! Oh, and throw out the old one. White needs to be recycled!

HOME Sweet HOME

It's quirky, it's crazy, it's color OVERLOAD and I LOVE it. As promised, here are a few pics of my new and improved living quarters.

Anybody want any Cake?

This was previously a dining room. In our puny 1600 sq. ft. house we could no longer afford to waste space on a dining room that got used twice a year. Dedicated to kid play now.

MOO! Cow skin rug from Ikea. It's cute but smelly!

Painted fire place, painted tile (both were brown). I'm sure the mantel and wall area will go through 10 more redos until I'm satisfied. For now, this will do.

Just purchased large yellow and white striped awning fabric for curtains. I will be hiding all the toys that live under the table with a tablecloth like contraption that I haven't invented yet.

(Yes, that would be a "TV" armoire that still houses our anciet TV. You won't find a savvy flat screen here. We take pride in vintage technology.)

The gigantor frame was a mirror originally (so I was told). I turned the backing over and painted with chalk board paint.

Amazing armoire that was given to me. Needs a little (okay a lot) TLC when I'm not feeling lazy.

Just slightly obsessed with oversized home accessories.
